St. Michael’s is a very open school, where we positively encourage parents and guardians to play an active part in school life.
Whilst your child is in Key Stage 1, you’re welcome to come into school to drop your child off and see them into their class room. It provides you with a great opportunity to speak to your child’s teacher informally and chat through anything that may be concerning you. Equally, it’s a chance to meet other parents and get to know people. This is especially important for those coming in from outside the village or who are new to the area.
Of course, you’re still welcome inside once your child’s in Key Stage 2… but, there is an expectation that your child will see themselves into their classroom!
We’ve put this section together to collate most, if not all of the information that both prospective and current parents need to know. Everything from supporting your child with home learning through to volunteering in our school is included.
But, if there’s still something that’s not clear, please speak directly to any staff member and they will do their best to help you.
